The project focuses on rockfall mitigation, slope stabilization, and avalanche protection along the Approach Road to the South Portal (ARSP) of the Rohtang Tunnel (now Yojak) in Himachal Pradesh. Given the region’s challenging terrain and extreme weather conditions, the work involves advanced geotechnical solutions to ensure slope stability and safeguard the roadway from avalanches and falling debris. The implementation of protective barriers, reinforced slopes, and controlled drainage systems enhances safety and accessibility, ensuring year-round connectivity through this critical mountain pass.
